The Electric City will once again be home to a new professional basketball franchise
The Great Falls Electric will play and be affiliated with The Basketball League (TBL) starting in March 2024, according to local businessman and former Team Owner and General Manager of the Great Falls Americans NA3HL junior hockey franchise Jim Keough, who announced the new team on Wednesday, June 28th

I think people want family entertainment and basketball is very popular with a lot of kids playing it,” said Keough. So, we’re bringing that atmosphere to Great Falls, and I just think as how Great Falls is growing, it’s just going to be a good fit
The TBL signs free-agent players and players with experience at the college level and professionally overseas that are looking to make a roster spot in the National Basketball Association (NBA)
“The goal of the Electric basketball program is to give an overlooked player their big break,” said the former Great Falls Legion baseball player who was drafted in the eighth round of the 1975 Major League Baseball Draft.
